Finally it's finished!!! Now I can relax
The reason I entered this contest is because it sounded like a hell of a lot of fun, but with how distractable I am and how long I take to do do things, I only finished this today and I've been sick to the stomach with how much stress it's bought on; It even cost me a couple of good nights sleep. However, it was a brilliant challenge, both in drawing skill and imagination, and I'm glad I took part.
The background was somewhat rushed; Behind the clocks and the cogs is a window and because of a tight schedule, I couldn't make the sky look as good as I could of, but theres not much that can be done now. I call this 'Anastasia's Invention Room', and she's investigating for an intruder in the room that she makes her ship/ zepplin's upgrades and replacements . I wish I could have added more detail to this, but that was my fault for being silly with my timekeeping.
Style; Impressionism (painting style), Manga (drawing style). I thought it would make it a lot easier if I used a style I knew for the base, since that would help with the timekeeping.
Mediums; Boldemere watercolour paints, almost dried-up watercolour paints, Model paint, Pentel arts Pocket brush, 4B and HB pencil and a fineliner.
T.O.C; Approx. 16:49

Problem area; It's a crappy attempt on Impressionism. I had fun attempting regardless, however I think I'm a little bit of a conservative perfectionist when it comes to my art! I think I might practise Impressionism more so I can loosen my style up a bit, especially since it looks more like an elaborate underpainting than an Impressionist piece, and I only realised this a couple of days ago.
